Stretch Into Spring

Bringing together yoga, and the Chinese 5 Elements, this energising session will twist and stretch you – body and mind, will stimulate energy, and will invite playfulness, curiosity and clarity of direction.

This retreat is for you if:

What a wonderful way to spend a winter morning.  Fascinating Chinese theory around the winter element, Water, followed by stretches which definitely helped my mobility afterwards.  The relaxation at the end left me feeling positive, refreshed and ready to go!  Can’t wait until the spring retreat.

During our 2 hours together we will:
🌱Have a physical practice that focuses on hips and shoulders, twists and side stretches. These invite a sense of clarity, playfulness and direction.
🌱Notice old patterns that no longer serve us, take steps to release them – and begin to establish new patterns that are more helpful for us in our lives right now.
🌱Work with the Liver and Gall Bladder meridians in the body, finding pressure points to deepen the potency of our practice
🌱Explore the Chinese Element that corresponds with the season of Spring – Wood, and how we can use Wood’s energies to support us in our every day lives!

Saturday 20th March – 10am – 12noon


The freshness, positivity, clarity and sense of freedom that the Wood energy and Spring evoke is inspiring and invigorating. There can also be frustration, stuckness, or a lack of direction that leads to indecision and a feeling of being lost or overwhelmed.
