Relishing Winter’s End


A 2 hour online retreat bringing together yoga, relaxation and the Chinese 5 Elements with the restful energy of Winter to feel restored and replenished

This retreat is for you if:
❄️You are tired, and long to feel deeply rested.
❄️You are feeling stressed or anxious, and want to be able to ‘switch off’ your busy mind for a while.
❄️You are already feeling the strain of this New Year, your resolutions, and can see yourself running out of steam before you have achieved what you intend to.
❄️You have a sense that really – you just need to hibernate for a little longer…

During our 2 hours together we will:
❄️Use yoga and movement to bring our awareness fully into our bodies, letting that busy, critical thinking mind have a little time off, allowing us to feel grounded, stable and connected to ourselves.
❄️Practice simple breathing techniques that encourage the body to relax even more deeply, so we feel a greater sense of peace, and ease.
❄️Explore the Chinese ‘Element’ that corresponds with the season of Winter – Water, and how we can use this to help us flow through this season, getting the most nourishment from it.

My own experience of this time of year used to be strained. I would be full of enthusiasm for new ideas and determined to follow through those good intentions. Yet I would, by now, or pretty soon, be flagging – feeling that I just didn’t have the energy, confidence or commitment to keep going with all I’d hoped for and planned.
Using the practices that I’ll be sharing with you, by the end of winter I feel replenished, more at ease with myself and more able to be fully present and engaged in all I do.
